Nuclear Plant Proposed near Scottsboro- Bellefonte

There is a public meeting this Tuesday night at the Northeast Alabama Community Center in Rainsville from 6-9 on a “combined license application”
for the Proposed Bellefonte Nuclear Units. TVA is planning on revamping the two units, at Bellefonte.
The Bellefonte facility was constructed in the 1970’s and never completed. This facility is 6 miles
East-Northeast of Scottsboro, Alabama, on the west shore of the Guntersville Reservoir at
Tennessee River
in Jackson County, Alabama. The meeting notice is below
